About this mod Machine translation
Uthgerd is well known for his somewhat angular features.
Some people say,
It's a character worth mentioning...so why not adapt to its natural tendencies?
Good morning everyone, my name is Mariulin.
The mod in question is a purely aesthetic revision; nothing new is added to the original game.
When I opened CK, I set up the character a little better, making its fighting style suitable for the weapons it carries by default and some compatible perks. The result is an NPC that specializes in fighting with two-handed weapons and heavy armor.
Uthgerd can suffer from the well-known "grey face" bug. To fix this problem, just open the MOD with CK, select the character, press (ALT+F4) and close CK.
For those who can't use CK, I've attached FaceGenData. Just extract the archive contents into your game folder. However, I cannot guarantee its operation. The most secure system is still the one described previously.
I've attached a bat-file in the "Files" section, which is useful in case the quest to recruit Uthgerd is interrupted due to the infamous Brawl bug. Just put it in the game folder and once in the game, open the console and type: "bat rissa". This solves the quest and allows you to hire NPCs directly. Once you've done this, you can also delete the bat files from the game folder if you wish.
Update (V 1.1)
Added racial ability spells; Uthgerd now have northern frost resistance in addition to the default orc race, to simulate their hybrid situation.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
