Old School ENB

About this mod Machine translation
Essentially just an ENB to /try/ capture the feel of old school 3d games. Sorta is like DOS, I do the best I can with the tools available. (Image taken on a completely clean base game. Not even SkyUI installed) As with any other ENB, you have to get all the spam from the enbdev site.
You know those old 3D games? Even though we're dirty zoomies born after that era, many of us still hold it close to our hearts.
Well, I like the aesthetic, so I made this ENB. I feel very comfortable.
Obviously if you use it you shouldn't use it with high resolution texture mods, mesh improvements etc. You won’t even see the changes these bring.
Image taken with a completely clean base game. Didn't even install SkyUI, I'm lazy. Add some lighting overhaul? Stuff is going to look like crispy kreme fucking
Fair warning I've never uploaded this before so here's hoping I get it right. I actually just opened a random ENB and matched the files in it.
Additional mod suggestions to really enhance that old, cozy feel:
It's a matter of time - move it out of the black border and the thing will be as good as fuck.
Climate in Tamriel/RLO - Obviously, better lighting always helps.
Paper Map Mod of your choice - can really do any job.
Add Soul Celtic Icons to SkyUI - Of course, you'll need suitable menu icons.
Main font replacement - I chose Magic: The Gathering, however, any font replacement you see fit will do. Morrowind played Magic: The Gathering, so nostalgia points there.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
