Added dialogue option to Old Orc to recruit him as a follower.
This mod adds a persuasion dialogue option to the old orc (a guy you meet on the road who is looking for a good guy) to recruit him as a follower so that when he joins you on your journey he can find a good guy.
Unfortunately, I can't test this at the moment because my current PC gets a bit garbled and bluescreens when I play Skyrim or any other game for more than 15 minutes. Therefore, this file is highly experimental and may not work properly.
I also had to use some workarounds because "Old Orcs" used a leveled NPC list and therefore couldn't get a unique token, nor a relationship level with the player. After loading the game, these values will be reset to 0,
But you need at least level 1 to become a follower. So I used a script when the game loaded which again set the Relationshiprank correctly.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
