A fiery sabercat minion with unique textures and a custom minion frame.
Introducing Obsidian, the fiery saber cat!
Provided by request to GodOnDrugs on the forums, Obsidian is a fiery saber cat minion with unique textures and a custom minion frame! Yes, that means he uses his own basic follower system and doesn't interfere with any vanilla followers or animals. He also levels up with you, attacks your enemies violently, and even wears jewelry! Although you can't see him actually wearing them, he does benefit from looting and armor. He just absorbs them in a certain way. How did he accomplish this amazing feat? We just don't know. He's also immune, has a slight (35%) weakness to frost to compensate and is vital, so you can love him forever.
~Location in, if you want spoiler photos~.

Things to note:
*If you like living dangerously, you can use the optional .esps to make him protected or unimportant.
*I haven't tested the compulsion of adding him to a follower mod (i.e. AFT or EFF), but if you absolutely must, it probably won't be too disruptive.
*If he is sitting, sometimes he will not follow you immediately. Please wait until he gets up.
*If you fire him, he should stay in that spot, but sometimes he will get up and wander around, staring at small animals.
*Sometimes dialog boxes are not clickable. That's a Skyrim thing. Disable and then re-enable it with the console. Also, I heard that all the features of AFT are available.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
