About this mod Machine translation
A remake of the city of Whiterun, part of a series of urban overhauls I started a few years ago called Town and Village Transformations.
Welcome to the first installment of my township mod series. This is for Whiterun, a remake of the city overhaul series I started a few years ago. I initially took inspiration from 2014's Aplestormy's Towns and Villages Enhanced to make my own version, and then took more inspiration from Jks Whiterun. All content is 100% mine, I just took some ideas from both authors to make my own mod.
In terms of compatibility, this mod is not compatible with Jks Whiterun, Town and Village Enhancements, Open Cities, and similar mods that similarly change the appearance of Whiterun.
The only thing you need for this beautiful city overhaul is the base Skyrim game!
Just head over to Whiterun and explore what my mod has to offer!
- Mod Manager: Go to the Files section on the Mod page and click Download using Mod Manager, your Mod Manager should open and start downloading.
- Manually: In the File section, click Manual Download and save the archive to your desktop or any location you like. Unzip the file and place the .esp file into the Skyrim Data folder.
- Mod Manager: Open Mod Manager or whichever Mod Manager you use and click Uninstall Mod. Once done, just click the delete key and it should remove it from the mod manager.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
