About this mod Machine translation
Allows you to assign a healthy human face to any vampire actor without applying any mods.
Required to use CK.
It's actually a tutorial designed to address an age-old problem with the grotesque aspects of vampires introduced by the Dawnguard DLC.
I know many mods have been released in this regard, but most of them are related to the player's personality.
Then, I repeat, this is not a MOD, but a very small tutorial that seems to have become almost a proverb.
Having a valid game and its CK is enough.
- The desired actor tab opens.
- Change the character's race to the corresponding non-vampire race (eg: from Northern Vampire to Northern).
- Set up the actor's face randomly, paying attention to all distinguishing features.
- Close actor tab and export facegens (by pressing CTRL + F4 keys)
- Re-open the profile and change race again, back to vampire.
- The actor's face was fixed again and tried to remain the same as the previous one.
- Close the fact sheet and do not export facegens.
- Save and close CK.
That's enough, I'm done. The file I've attached only contains a few demo screenshots. If you download them, you can approve the tutorial.
Have a nice day everyone.
PS
As user zzjay pointed out, the CK mm gimmick described here will not work if you use a mod that adds files to the folder: skyrim\data\textures\actors\characters\character assets\>>"tintmasks".
In this case, the recommendation (which I cannot guarantee, but has been made by experienced people) is to rename this folder while performing the above steps.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
