About this mod Machine translation
By replacing the vanilla skeleton with a custom one, this mod transforms the lumbering top-heavy Netch into a floating alien nightmare. Every encounter is 101% guaranteed to inspire awe and terror!
If you are like me and were disappointed with vanilla Netches, then this mod is for you. This mod replaces the vanilla Netch skeleton with a new custom skeleton designed to give Solsheim's Netches a more menacing, repulsive and alien appearance. Working within the confines of the vanilla mesh, I adjusted the body and tentacles to make them more jellyfish-like, like a human body plan. These subtle changes transform the vanilla Netchi into an even stranger, terrifying creature you'll encounter on the island of Solsheim! ! ! ! seeing is believing! ! ! ! ! ! seeing is believing! ! ! ! ! ! Animations and combat still work perfectly! ! !
[[[MOD compatibility]]
Notorious Netches use a custom skeleton from Vanilla Netches and will override any mods that make changes to the Vanilla Netch skeleton. Mods that make radical changes to the vanilla skeleton (such as "Realistic Ragdoll and Force") will be compatible, as long as "Notorious Netches" is installed after these mods and allows it to overwrite files.
Should be fully compatible with any texture mod as this mod does not contain any textures or meshes, only bones. This also makes it compatible with most other mob mods that don't edit the vanilla skeleton.
[[[Install]]]
It is recommended to use Vortex or your favorite mod manager.
After installing "Notorious Netches" when prompted, make any mods that make changes to the original Netches and "overwrite" any files
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
