Nordic ruins in Skyrim
Overhauled the exteriors of Forelhost, Highgate Ruins, Korvanjund, Labyrinthian, Ragnvald, Rannveig's Fast, Saarthal, Valthume, and Volskygge.
This is an exterior overhaul of some of the greatest buildings in the ancient skyline. I absolutely love the exterior design of Bleak Falls Barrow. Arriving there for the first time, I was surprised to see what Skyrim had in store among other great Norse ruins. Sadly, few other ruins are as impressive in appearance, and none even rival Barrow at Desolation Falls. The ruins that amazed me more than Misty Falls Barrow were the Labyrinth and Skudafin.
With this mod I hope to give other ruins an epic look. This is an aesthetic mod only, so no loot or enemies will be added. The focus of this mod is just large scale, so you won't find any other clutter.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
