About this mod Machine translation
Turn off features you don't want to use and/or remind yourself not to use them.
Skyrim has a lot of options.
Legion vs.
Stormcloaks fight with magic or battle axe.
Join the Dark Brotherhood or destroy them.
There is more.
If you don't like the choice, you can usually choose another path. Especially skills and weapons. Really like level 10 spellcasting? So far, you can pick it up even if you've been wearing heavy armor and wielding a warhammer. This is beneficial to a large extent as it allows learning various aspects of the game.
However, after playing for a while, some people will choose not to use aspects of the game for the sake of immersion, challenge, role-playing, etc. For example, some mods turn off fast travel. You can choose to do more than just fast travel, but that mod exists (in my opinion) as a reminder that you're not using that aspect of the game in this demo.
Talentless offers some of these options. Want to play a sword wielder who doesn't know how to be a magician? Turn it off.
Have you decided you want to use magick on a flat swordsman after all? Roleplay and travel to the Academy of Winterhold to learn magic and turn the option back on.
Through the MCM menu you can turn various aspects on and off. Currently, available features that can be turned on and off include:
Unable to use cooking station
Unable to use enchantment table.
Unable to use the forge.
Unable to access Alchemy Station.
There is no fast travel.
No magic (cannot equip spells)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
