NLA-Better Nights Edition

Confidence Man's NLA preset, modified to provide more playable nights and indoors. Still extremely dark, but no longer dark.

All credit goes to Confidence Man for presetting. I didn't actually do anything except make the days slightly longer and make the nights and interiors brighter so it wasn't black anymore.

Install

• You still need to download the NLA Weather plugin from Confidence Man's Mod. Do a manual download, right-click on the data file and click "Add to data.7z", rename the zip file to something recognizable, such as "NLA Weathers", and store it in a secure mod archive folder. Then add the file as a mod via your Mod Manager (NMM has the green + button) and activate it.

• Delete all previous ENB files. Download this modified preset file and add them to your Skyrim executable directory, which should be the directory containing the Skyrim launcher and Data folder (among other things).

• Follow something like the Confidence man page or step-by-step guide and make sure you have adjusted your skyline preferences and enb local files to properly meet the mod's needs and your system's specifications.

personal thoughts

I'm making this modified preset public because for me it constitutes ENB's masterpiece. NLA has by far the best daytime lighting I've seen in Skyrim. Unfortunately, it's too dark at night and indoors to play without a flashlight. I know it's realistic, but it's not fun or game-playable. Therefore, this mod.

I'm gaming at 1.2 gamma, which is about 25% brightness on the in-game menu slider. It's still very dark at night and indoors, and the use of torches is highly recommended. But at least it's playable.
