Narfi's home restored

About this mod Machine translation
This little mod only restores Narfi's house and should be compatible with everything.
Let's face it, people: Narfi's run-down family home in Ivarstead is an eyesore. Are the villagers so heartless that they just let poor fools live in half-ruined houses? They probably are, since they even have a Dark Brotherhood contract with poor Narfi. That ugly house for the villagers (and me) was enough to ruin the beauty. So they helped Narfi restore the house to its original shape.
Let's get technical: apart from Narfi's house, nothing in Ivarstead has been touched, not even the navigation network. I just added some hay roof, some wooden walls, beams and planks, a cooking pot and some tokens that Narfi has. He should be groomed at home in a sandbox, hammered against the walls, sitting on his new fur, or warmed by a new fire. He also has a door, so it feels more like being in a real house, but everything remains external. I avoided adding anything that would require adjusting the navmesh, so no new furniture was added for Narfi. I checked the screenshots from JK and Arthmoor's Ivarstead overhaul, but none of those seem to touch Narfi's house, so they should work with my mod.
If you look at the house from far enough away, it's now house-shaped enough to not be as dazzling as it once was. Or at least I hope so. Even if Narfi died for some reason (purely by chance), which of course it was, at least his house is now in peak condition and clearly superior to the rest of the village in every way (haha). All kidding aside, if you find yourself thinking something like: wtf this is ugly, why isn't it so pretty? The answer is: it's intentionally ugly. This shows that the villagers don't care about Narfi's happiness at all. They're like: let's get it done as quickly as possible, and if it looks good, then it's done, who cares about the rest.
Just need Skyrim.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
