About this mod Machine translation
Musk oxen are large herbivores that live on the pale snowy tundra, and are even rarer on the Eastmarch. Their thick dark brown hair almost hangs to the ground, and there is a thick bone plate on their forehead, ending in large curved horns at both ends. They live in groups of 8 to 13 individuals. They get their name from their strong musky scent that goes unnoticed during the mating season.
These hulking animals can remain in the snowy tundra year-round, surviving temperatures as low as -70 degrees Celsius. With its long, rough coat, the Musk Ox is well protected against cold conditions.
Despite their appearance, musk oxen are more closely related to sheep and goats;
Usually passive, if you get close to the herd, they will attack you.
They are uncommon in Eastmarch and are now extinct. Magical beasts hold a large presence on Winterhold, such as ice golems, ice giants, summoned monsters from the Forgotten Realms, and others of unknown origin such as wampas (future mods). Some believe the university was guilty of the unusual presence of the snow beast in both areas, and one result was that the musk ox became extinct there, having hunted them on a massive scale.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
