About this mod Machine translation
This mod adds custom races to Skyrim. It's supposed to be a killer version of the wizard in the world of The Witcher. This is my first Skyrim mod.
Morkaere mutant
The Guild of Morkaere was a very old Norse guild that was founded to fight the dragons upon their return. But ever since Blade took over, the guild members have been using their abilities as monster, bounty and vampire hunters. The guild used powerful but deadly concoctions to mutate the corpses of children and trained them to survive in alchemy, combat, and destructive spells if they could survive the impure potion. Out of ten boys, only two survived the mutation process, and only one girl ever survived the mutation process. Morkaere mutants have high reflexes and are stronger than regular Nords, and their metabolism is faster so they regenerate health faster than any other Nord. Mutants are also resistant to poison and disease, and they can dilate their pupils to see in the dark, with their eyes visually similar to the deep yellow eyes of high elves. The old hideout of the Morkaere Guild, now known as the "Abandoned Prison" by White River, was raided by the Imperial Legion and turned into a prison after they took over. Rumor has it that these mutants live as long as one of the elves, but with the extinction of the Morkaere mutants, only a few remain.
This is my first mod, it's supposed to be a killer race of wizards inspired by wizards. Some things may not be what I expected, but the mod seems to play perfectly and I didn't encounter any bugs during testing.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
