This mod repositions and improves two bandit camp locations by skillest from the mod More Bandit Camps (please note that this mod requires the mod to work, see requirements below). The original MBC mod gave us a lot of extra bandit factions and was overall a good addition to Skyrim, but not everything worked very well. This patch mod addresses some of these issues. I created this mod mainly for Blackbird Wander to be used with Sexy Bandit Camps, that is still its main purpose, but this mod is not required to use this mod and will work even if you don't use it (buy it why don't you want all those cute captives to save??)

Camp Steadwatch It was originally located near Rorikstead, its location threatening travel on the road as well as conflicting with several other mods. I moved the camp to a new place below Fort Sungard, where I could hide better, watch traffic on both roads (but not attack as often), and be more defensive against bandits. The location is fully navigated and cleaned. It has a larger camp, extra bandit archers, and hidden loot scattered around the camp. The original location is restored to its vanilla Skyrim state, including the original navmesh and landscape, and any other mods using the location should load after this patch.

Camping with snowfall was previously isolated and difficult to even reach, and it's not clear to me what purpose this campground is supposed to serve. It features a named NPC who is not actually a bandit but lives in the camp. I moved the camp to the top of a cliff overlooking Dragonsbridge, where it was nowhere near attracting aggro or conflicting with mods like ETaC but the bandits had a clear view of the city's traffic. There are six bandits plus named NPCs in the camp. The NPC was forced to serve time and given the Bandit faction to make him more of a powerful Bandit Mage instead of... whatever he is (I also changed his voice type so he can speak Bandit dialogue now). As with Steadwatch, the camp is completely navigated and cleared, defended and mostly hidden (you have to look hard to see any part of it from Dragonsbridge). The original camp location has been restored to its vanilla state.

Camp Redfox camp map markings have been corrected so they are no longer "hostile". Reworked camp to make it easier to navigate as well as fix some navmesh bugs. The camp is located in the same location and is the same size. Also added a fast travel marker that puts you near the camp instead of in the middle of it.

The original campsite at Wakefield Camp was completely dismantled and the surrounding area returned to its default state. The camp was moved near a new primitive cave where there was a small group of bandits. Some backstories were developed and you can get clues about certain events by reading the bandit leader's diary.

New Primitive Camp adds a brand new camp to the mod. I would be surprised by where the camp is and what it's called, but I'm trying to incorporate that into not just the location, but the gameplay setting as well. It should provide a new twist for those doing the main quest. This camp is the same size as what I did in Steadwatch, so expect a solid battle (they took down a dragon themselves in testing!)

Requirements: You must have the Explorer version of MBC for LE

Installation: Just put the esp in the load order after the MBC. There are no scripts or anything in this mod so it will have very minimal impact on your save games.

If you are using mods like Pirates of the North, make sure they load after my mod for best performance.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
