//www..com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/12594 Although Mirabelle appeared to be dead after her battle with Ancano, she is still alive and well at Winterhold College. Once the events of the Academy quest line are completed and Dragon Nest has become the Archmage, this mod will allow you to recruit her as a follower. Not only does this mod revamp Mirabelle's appearance and allow you to recruit her as a follower, but it also engages her in a fun and balanced way, with some engaging follower features. Enhanced follower and combat AI, smart sandbox, casting light when dark, visual enhancements and more to keep you full of sound! Get:
Mirabelle can be recruited once the player character becomes the Archmage of the Academy of Winterhold.
A cryptic note will appear in the inventory. After reading, Mirabelle's location (in the university) will be tracked on your map as a target.
You will need to change location (go to a different cell or range) to trigger the note.
As you approach the college campus, an in-game message will appear, "Magic is in the Air," letting you know that she is ready to be recruited as a follower.
NOTE: After installing this mod, it is best to save and load the game. Skyrim can sometimes behave strangely when modding vanilla NPCs.
Features:
A fully functional minion that uses her own custom minion system.
She has all the standard follower functions: trade, wait, follow, etc.
She can also be recruited in addition to other minions (including other custom minions) without the need for multiple minion mods. Does not increase the number of followers. She will join the "Current Followers" and "Potential Followers" camps.
Can be used with mods with multiple followers, but cannot be managed by them.
Mirabelle received a full sound treatment using edited lines from the game.
Participate in small talk (hours cooldown during small talk).
Comments about dangers, dungeon entrances and interesting attractions.
Interact with NPCs. Currently covering several Whiterun characters, the guard, the shopkeeper and the tavern.
Comments on player actions and achievements: leveling up, looting, crafting (enchantment or alchemy).
She has custom companion ad properties.
To maintain the regal look, she tweaked the look. Has custom makeup and hair, but uses installed body type and skin. Her weight is 30.
She has the same level as the player character, with a minimum level of 10 and no upper level limit.
Adjusted AI combat effectiveness to support spell casting.
Lightfoot perk with light trap.
The AI data has been changed to behave aggressively in combat, and Foolhard is confident, allowing him to commit any crime (except the Winterhold murders), helping friends and allies.
She has advanced AI capabilities.
If it's dim outside or in a dungeon environment, her own "custom light spell" will be used. (Can be switched via the Adjustments dialog menu)
This way you can cover internal locations not covered by standard keywords.
You can ask her not to cast light in previously designated interior units.
Her light spells are much warmer and gentler than ordinary light spells and will not cause blinding.
If the player character is sneaking around or entering a non-dungeon interior, she will turn off the lights.
You can ask her to cast light in any interior cell.
Sandboxed when idle. (Can be switched via the Adjustments dialog menu)
Designed similarly to Serana or Fallout 4 companions, a certain level of inactivity is required before starting the sandbox.
Idle is canceled almost immediately when the player is sneaking, …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
