About this mod Machine translation
Fascinating Miraaks gear with new charms and effects. Including clothing and light armor.
From the makers of that mod, no one has ever heard of or cared about the other mod.
Miraak equipment enhancement
Mask: Now grants 70 magic points at all levels and reduces Shout cooldown by 20%.
Robe: Absorbs 15% of magic from spells and dragon breath attacks, and has a chance to spawn tentacles when hit. Also reduces the cost of all spells by 10%.
Gloves: Increases magic absorbed by 5% and increases damaging spell damage by 10%.
Boots: Increases mana absorption by 5%, and increases mana and stamina regeneration by 50%.
The weapon's cost is waived (unlimited enchantment uses), the sword is now improved by Daedric Smithing instead of a Dwarven (why it was dwarven in the first place, we'll never know.)... and the gold value of all items is greatly increased (because it looks better!)
Armor type fixes
The base game is pretty clunky, mixing and mashing light, heavy, and clothes. The mask gets lighter/heavier depending on your skill level (which I guess is adequate), but it's not adjustable. Gloves are always lightweight (and not temperature regulating), but robes and boots are clothing.
I have two versions of the mod; "Full Light" and "Clothing", of course, change Miraak's outfit to consistent light armor or clothing.
The Light Armor version adds the additional benefits of tempering recipes and forging skills to all pieces, and allows players to benefit from match set bonuses when wearing all four pieces.
The costume version allows you to benefit from the "Mage Armor" modification perk.
Install/Uninstall
Just drop the esp of your choice into the Skyrim\Data directory. Only use one of them!
Uninstall; remove esp again. But it's best not to do this while playing (applies to all Skyrim mods...)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
