Minimalistic Gear

About this mod Machine translation
Keep everything minimal and sparse. Also makes loot not level, but not the weapon/armor used by the enemy.
The mod is made based on Time-Based Enemy Scaling system (LE, SE)
There are two files in this mod. One changes the loot you find. Another changes the equipment used by enemies.
File 1. Unbalanced, minimalist, sparse plunder.
- Endless mission rewards.
- Unbalanced loot.
- Minimalistic loot (fewer variations of the same type of items in level lists).
- Scarce loot. Like SCARCITY mod, but better. Scarcity makes all loot equally scarce, regardless of item type. But in my mode, loot is made rarer on a case-by-case basis after careful consideration. For example:
- The potions in the chests of Falmer, Bandit, Forsworn, Hagraven, and Vampire are less effective;
- Reduced poison on human/dwarf chests;
- Less stealth skills than the warrior skill potion in the Stormcloak chest.
You have this idea...
- There is less food in the level inventory and food loot is more consistent (e.g. you can find potatoes in barrels, but not tomatoes)
- Chest has much less magic weapons/armor. Some magic items are replaced with jewelry or gold.
- Level list of poisons that damage health more than other types of poisons like stamina or magic poisons (use those poisons anyway)
- Animals no longer carry gold, jewelry or other "treasures". Instead of treasure, I added more immersive loot (like, two eyeballs instead of one, more poison for spiders, etc.)
Another example: From the Boar dropdown I removed the Potion, Gold, Gold from the Golden Touch and Imp.Luck perks; instead added 1 Tusker, created and added a Boarhide. (That's much better, isn't it?)
- Added Golden Touch/Imp.Luck bonus for Dragon Priests, Werewolfs, Werebears, Lurkers and some other enemies.
- Wealthy citizens do not carry locks and food
- The thief only had silver cutlery, not glazed. ...and a few other minor changes.
File 2. Simple equipment
- In general, reduce magic weapons/armor/clothes.
- Reduced equipment with the same enchantment (eg 1-3-5 or 2-4 instead of lvl 1-2-3-4-5)
- Almost no magic armor/clothes/weapons that are useless for NPC enchantments (like Fortify CarryWeight or Pickpocket). In fact, most magic is completely useless to NPCs, so you won't find a lot of magic gear on your enemies. But if you want to learn a specific enchantment from Eolrund Gray-Mane (SkyForge dude) in Whiterun, you can buy a set of magic equipment. But it's not cheap. You need the first .esp.
- A small fix: Heavy Skeleton Armor is no longer enchanted with Reinforced Light Armor (yes, that's an in-game thing)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
