About this mod Machine translation
This mod transforms your vanilla mammoth into a mammoth that is closer to the most fearsome Imperial Mammoth in prehistory! This is a subtle but needed change to increase your immersion level by 101%!
[[[MOD DESCRIPTION]]]
If you're like me and have been disappointed with vanilla mammoth, then this mod is for you. This mod replaces the vanilla Mammoth skeleton with a new custom skeleton, designed to give the Skyrim Mammoth a more realistic and immersive look, closer to the prehistoric Imperial Mammoth. Working within the confines of the vanilla mesh, I adjusted the mammoth's head, neck, jaw and legs. These subtle changes to Skyrim's mammoths make them more like prehistoric Imperial mammoths. Each encounter immerses you deeper into Skyrim's words!
Mighty Mammoths uses custom skeletons for vanilla Mammoths and will override any mods that change the skeleton of vanilla mammoths. Mods that drastically change the vanilla skeleton, such as "Realistic Ragdoll and Force" should be compatible as long as "Mighty Mammoths" is installed after those mods and allow their files to be overwritten.
Should be fully compatible with any texture mod, as this mod does not contain its own skeleton-only textures. This also makes it compatible with most other creature models that don't edit vanilla skeletons.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
