Ian is a male and a potential follower who can be found in Candleforge Hall in Windhelm. As Stendarr's senior vigilant, he is also able to cure players of ailments when asked.

Ian is a veteran holy warrior, proficient in two-handed, one-handed, block, recovery, alteration and stealth. He favors the use of warhammers and maces, but can also use shields, bows, and staves when necessary.

His privileges include:

Charge: Dash to knock down the target.

Devastating Strike: Has a chance to deal 25% additional damage and cause decapitation.

Sweep: A side power attack with a two-handed weapon that hits all targets in front of you.

Ian's fighting style is a perfect combination of melee combat and magic, making his death in combat more deadly than that of an average warrior or wizard. He comes with all the regular spells the Vigilant has (Okfresh, Fast Heal, and Ward), as well as the following unique spells:

Healing Aura: When team mating with a player, restores his/her health every 5 seconds.

Battle Cry (Shout): A powerful vocal force that staggers nearby enemies and pushes them closer a short distance.

Intervention Circle: Burns nearby enemies and draws their attention. Especially effective against the undead.

Holy Strike: Melee attacks will cause additional damage to the sun, and power strikes have a chance to cause lightning runes to appear on the nearby ground, thus shocking the target.
