About this mod Machine translation
This mod adds Malacoda to Skyrim, who can be found in Candlehearth Hall in Windhelm. He is married, can be a family member or housekeeper, and has a unique voice (requires RDO) or an independent voice (male event).

Malacoda (
Malacoda the Corsair) This mod provides the Redaco corsair Malacoda to Skyrim. You can find him at Candlehearth in Windhelm. He comes wielding two akaviri katakana and prisoner rags (so you can make him wear any armor you like). Malacoda combines two-handed/one-handed skills in combat with healing and altering spells (Iron Blood, etc.). His feats fall somewhere between one-handed and stealth skills, making him a capable rogue. 1.2 Update Malacoda now has a completely separate version with different voices (except for required DLC), and this file is now conveniently packaged in .bsa format. Running and tested via Tes5Edit! The original version still needs a "relationship dialogue overhaul."
Please see the "Instructions" readme and required mods sections to find out what you need to make this mod work.
*Note: I was using Facelight when saving the source of these photos, so if Malacoda looks like he "might" have a gray face in the photo, that's just a lighting difference with the Facelight spell. Features:
Marriable (non-RDO only)
Housecarl for Hearthfires (non-RDO only)
Hearthfire Keeper (non-RDO only)
Barefoot (will not attract traps)
Unique Voice (Male Soldier/Gideon Emery)
Essential (cannot be killed)
Unique weapons and enchanted armor
Unique summoning "Lark" spell
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
