This mod replaces the Skyrim logo on the main menu screen with Norwegian painter Peter Nicolai Arbo's Åsgårdsreien (1872), which in English means "Odin's Wild Hunt". All files in this mod ("main" and "optional" downloads) contain only meshes and textures without .esps, and can be safely installed and removed at any time. There are 3 versions available for download in the "Main Files" section, each showing different particle effects on the main menu and loading screen. The Optional Files section provides two additional downloads for users who do not wish to use this mod's artwork on the main menu screen. If you use one of the options available in the "Main Files" section, you don't need any "Optional Files".

Main Menu Screen Replacer - Wild Hunt - Vanilla Mist - Does not include a fog replacer grid, so unless you are already using another fog remover/replacer, vanilla fog will appear on the main menu and loading screens. The effect is very subtle in the artwork.

To install and uninstall this mod, please follow the standard procedures of your preferred Mod Manager.
Manual:
Install by placing the mod's Data folder in ...\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim (merging and overwriting allowed).
To uninstall, delete the following files:
For artwok.net -> Delete logo.nif from...\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim\Data\Net\Interfaces\Logos
For textures of artwork -> Remove asgardsreien.dds from...\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\Textures\interface\objects
For fog replacement or removal of meshes (if used) -> remove inmenufogparticles.nif from...\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\meshes\interface
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
