About this mod Machine translation
In short, this mod adds a .44 Magnum to Skyrim. So if you find yourself wanting to meet a bad boy in the game, go for it.
Yes, you read that correctly. This mod adds a full set of .44 Magnum revolvers to your game, but it doesn't drop directly into your hands (unless you download that version). You will have to face the Ebony Warrior and defeat him to claim your new weapon. Yes, just in case you didn't think the Ebony Warrior was OP enough, now he also has guns in his arsenal. That said, this version of the mod may not be compatible with any other mods that alter the Ebony Warrior. That's why I also included another version that just gives you weapons. So if you don't have the Dragonborn DLC, have other Ebony Warrior mods, or just don't want to fight him, you should check out this version.
The only requirement is the Dragonborn DLC, which is only needed if you want the Ebony Warrior version. There are no requirements for alternative versions. However, no matter which version you use, I highly recommend using gaju's pistol shooting animation along with this mod. If you don't, you can see the vanilla staff animation in my screenshots and video demo. It looks drab and ugly like pee, boi. It's worth noting that these pistol animations also work on vanilla staffs, so you're not sacrificing your pistol animations for staff animations, which is a win-win.
Installation is simple, just drag and drop meshes, sounds, textures and .esp into your Skyrim\Data folder. Alternatively, you can always use a mod manager such as Vortex, MO or NMM to install everything for you. I recommend that you run LOOT after installation to maintain your load order.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
