A strange island has risen from the depths of the sea and its mysterious path is being explored. You're a little too late to the party, following in the footsteps of the expedition you find yourself drawn into a story of betrayal, madness and forgotten secrets that preceded the Maelstrom...
This quest module features fully voiced followers that may become available at the end of the quest line. During the search, there is a second minion that provides customized vanilla sounds. The quest itself is inspired by Norse mythology and spans across a large dungeon complex and other locations filled with puzzles, enemies, secret areas and more!
Maelstrom is also available for Skyrim SE, which you can get here.

Use your favorite Mod Manager that handles the FOMOD installer, it's that simple. Manual installation is also possible by dragging and dropping the .esp and .bsa files from the archive into Skyrim's Data folder.
uninstall:
It's never a good idea to uninstall a modded game, but if you have no other choice, here's what you do:
Dismiss followers you may have obtained from this mod and go to a location that is definitely not part of this mod (e.g. Riverwood)
Save the game and uninstall the mod using the Mod Manager, or delete manually installed files from the Data folder.

If she has been in the game for a few days, then from time to time she will provide you with new dialogues in which you can learn more about her.
Race:
Customize your race, you will find more information after completing the mission.
Fighting style:
She can switch between a melee-focused fighting style and a magic-focused fighting style, which you can change through dialogue.

She also has a custom class shout function that can open and pass conversations.

She uses a separate CBBE body, but you don't have to worry about armor.
Secondary followers:
This mod also features a second vanilla voice follower with some custom dialogue that you'll meet earlier in the mission. She is Breton and has some healing abilities and is recommended to be taken with you in your first game, but of course it is up to you as she is optional.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
