Luminosity Lighting Overhaul

About this mod Machine translation
A super lightweight mod that simply recolors and enhances vanilla lighting.
describe
This mod essentially recolors the vanilla lighting using an ELFX inspired palette while retaining the vanilla waypoints (lighting strategy). It doesn't move or add new bulbs, so you don't have to worry about flashing disco and scripts to mitigate this problem. Brightness is used for gaming and immersion. Light bounces off the environment to fill the space, so don't expect a dark dungeon. This mod retains vanilla light sign posting, which is designed to help you navigate indoors. Furthermore, it is all built on a set of image space settings (i.e. contrast, brightness, saturation), making it an ideal indoor lighting module for creating ENBs due to its amazing consistency. In the version in the Cathedral Project it is also possible to adjust the internal brightness to your liking.
I offer three versions with different brightness. Currently, 1.15 is recommended, but since I don't own Oldrim I can't test it myself.
compatibility
This mod only covers the original records; cells, lights, lighting templates, (internal) weather. Therefore, it is technically compatible with any mod that is compatible with Skyrim. However, in order for you to appreciate the changes this mod makes, it should be loaded after all other mods unless the mod in question specifically states to be loaded after the startup mod. For example, mods that modify specific lighting (such as flashlights, mage lighting, or spell lighting) should be loaded afterwards.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
