About this mod Machine translation
Giving you a disposable sack to carry your loot!
I'm always torn between being immersed in the reality of carrying weight models and the inconvenience they bring. While jumping across the sky with 3 full sets of plate armor and 5 greatswords is certainly unrealistic, the repetitive loot-heisting between bandit camps and the nearest city gets old quickly.
So what makes a smart adventurer? Well, why not grab the sack and throw away all the loot, and if you need to fight, drop the sack and pull out the axe.
That, my friends, is exactly what this mod does. Droppable sack. After installing this mod, an item called "Loot Sack" will appear in your inventory. When you draw your weapon or press "B", the sack will be dropped. Sacks can be activated like any normal container. When you reach your arm, press B again, which will lift the sack; if you are further away but still within sight, press B, which will open the sack. Check the screenshot for the maximum distance you can still use the hotkey to open the bag.
As an added bonus, a quest called Loot Sack will also appear in your diary, and you can turn on the quest marker to find your sack more easily.
Version 5 released:
Bug fixes:
Teleporting to your backpack will no longer leave excess bags on the ground. (If you have already encountered this situation, lift the sacks and mark any excess sacks in the console)
Adjustment:
Convenient to access luggage! Simply tap the assigned bag key to open the bag. No need to put it down and turn it back on again.
To manually lift or lower luggage, press and hold the luggage key for at least 0.5 seconds.
Release version 4:
Adjustment:
Sacks no longer automatically drop when drawing weapons on horseback
Added options in the MCM to have sacks teleported to you when dropped in a place you cannot access.
Version 3 released:
New features:
Added a gradually increasing speed penalty to stop the whole world from getting into your sack.
Disable or fine-tune MCM
Adjustment:
Items with a weight of 0 will no longer automatically be looted into sacks
Items marked as non-playable are no longer automatically looted into sacks (such as Requiem's invisible arrow weight)
Added MCM option to remove all items from sack. (If you notice the sack weighs a ton even with everything taken out)
Fixed an issue where sacks would often become invisible in dungeons
Version 2 released:
New features:
Automatically moves loot to your sack when picked up.
This is the default behavior when you are holding a sack, drop the sack if you want to loot items into your inventory.
In menu mode, pressing the same hotkey B will also toggle between looting into sacks or temporarily seizing the player's inventory.
After exiting the menu, it switches back to the default behavior.
Non-droppable quest items are an example.
Can be disabled in MCM
Adjustment:
Sacks from the weapon draw will no longer be given up if the player has no encumbrance.
Install:
Like anything else, download and activate.
configuration:
Waiting for MCM menu registration
Open MCM and select a hotkey. (Default is B)
Updating:
Just overwrite, no need to uninstall and reinstall.
After the game is over, enter the MCM menu and select the "Re-register" option
save game
uninstall:
Make sure to get everything you want out of the sack.
In the console, enter: stopQuest LootSack_Quest
Uninstsall
Disclaimer:
This is not a bag that can be stored indefinitely. Things in the bag will still be pressed down no matter you pick them up.
Therefore, this is not suitable for people who want to travel quickly.
This is not for people who don’t want to walk.
This is for people playing Requiem, with a more realistic obstruction mode.
Loot Sack 5.0, bug fixes, added easier access, tap bag key to open, hold for 0.5 seconds to drop/pick up
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
