Added Markers to the Imperial Legion in Skyrim.
The Imperial Legions are in Skyrim and fight in battles across Skyrim to take down the rebel Stormcloaks. But where are their standards? The Imperial Legion is based on our world's Roman Legion, so there won't be a Signifer? A sturdy soldier, carrying the standard military insignia of a legionnaire. A symbol of power and discipline?
After hard work, put it off for a while to work on other projects or just hang out. I finally put it together.
I placed two tokens on each Imperial camp in Skyrim. Each has a different symbol (standard).
I planned to use glyphs in siege/bastion battles, but it didn't work out well for me.
This mod contains two scripts that tell Signifer to always hold the standard correctly unless inside a building. They'll actually put the standards in there. This standard has a certain rallying cry effect on them that boosts the reputation of nearby allies. (Thanks to Tan for writing the script),
I made a patch for Immersive Patrols that includes signboards for each Imperial patrol and battle.
and Mod Camp Argentum. CA already included a Signifer follower, which I edited to have Signum (standard).
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
