About this mod Machine translation
Know Your Element enables compatibility between assets added in Elemental Destruction Magic and the Know Your Enemy resistance and weakness system.
Armor and NPCs with existing KYE traits are modified to interact with water, wind, and earth effects; NPCs added by Elemental Destruction Magic also have KYE traits.
Know Your Element - Know Your Enemy and Elemental Destruction's patch magic was created to extend KYE's excellent, trait-based resistance and vulnerability system to include the additional assets of Elemental Destruction Magic.
detail
New abilities are added to Earth, Water and Wind atronachs so that they gain KYE traits.
Added new features unique to these atronachs, similar to the original KYE Fire/Frost/Shock implementation.
KYE Armor trait now has vulnerability and resistance to Earth, Water and Wind.
KYE biofeatures now have vulnerability and resistance to Earth, Water, and Wind.
Update: The latest version of KYE checks for active mage armor spells and assigns appropriate traits; Know Your Element does the same in v.1.2

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
