About this mod Machine translation
Semi-powerful artifacts only exist in the Whiterun Plains.
Once upon a time there was a bandit who was the bane of all law. His hands are quick, his locks strong and his aim real. For every arrow spent, three guards will fall. His powers are undocumented, his bounty is large and unwieldy, and some even say Nightwalker is his patron. One day, however, he collapsed on the road to an unknown disease. His body was buried with honors at the resting place of his comrade Hamville. His bow was buried in memory of his skill...
However, grave robbers exist, and when one drops his bow in flight, another picks it up. The guard was on patrol and said to himself that he had never seen anything like this. Without thinking, ignoring any fear or spurring, he returned the bow and arrow to his Jarl. Hopefully such treasures will surely bring rewards...
This bow...is a knee protector. Guard.
Introducing a project I worked on while surviving the devastation in Florida after Hurricane Michael, this is a small mod I created in honor of the enchanted bow I had in Skyrim for the PS3 a few years ago. I absolutely love the bow because it's so versatile and unique. I even managed to trick a family member into thinking it was a vanilla weapon.
This mod adds a unique ancient bow somewhere in the game called the Kneeseeker...it's very useful in its functionality and makes for a great meme. However, getting it is not an easy task, and it is guarded by a semi-competent boss who can cause new players a lot of trouble.
To start your bow search, start in Dragonsreach or The Bannered Mare, then search journals, notes, bounties...anything that can give you a clue to the bow's whereabouts...
Or just look at the screenshots. I'm sure most of you can deduce its location by looking at them.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
