About this mod Machine translation
This is a player character preset I set up because I was having issues with my game and decided, Damn it! I uploaded the character to Contact so I could come back and let others see if they wanted it.
Kia has been my go-to character since before mods came out. Back in 2011, Kia was my character name. From PS3 to PC, to XBOX ONE (my PC broke) and back to PC, this character name is stuck. So after nearly 8 years of steady development, and a total of 4,000 hours of playback, I present my completed character. All of this is made possible by the Skyrim Modding community. If you're wondering about my bad game, go ahead.
Story Time: Basically, when I switched from PS3 to PC, I jumped right in. I stupidly started using the Steam Workshop Mod (newbie mistake) and I started downloading everything without reading any compatibility issues, wondering what the fuck was going on when I loaded it up. "Where is my naked body?", "Where is my enchantment?" Then I deleted all of them and found out that this is actually where I get the mod. I then had to say 6 times to have to reinstall the game and clear my mods because I never checked for compatibility issues and the Lovers Lab mod (you know what I'm talking about ;D) caused a lot of problems because the orders wouldn't load at all because I didn't check and never made a new save. So fast forward, my computer's hard drive died, so I quit the game, bought Skyrim for XBOX and modded there (which sucked). After 2 years I got a Lenovo Legion gaming laptop and started downloading Skyrim gear again. Then I'll go to the hobbyist lab and reinstall all my "experimental" mods, for the benefit of the community of course! My game kept crashing and wouldn't save, so I deleted all the mods, and decided to check each module and place them in the correct order. It worked for a while but started crashing again, I got back into playing a week ago and played a lot of games and downloaded more mods but the crashing was really bad and some of my saves were really bugging me and not loading so I decided to upload my completed character and reset all the mods. Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
