About this mod Machine translation
3 Nif sculptures inspired by various lizard races. Additionally, there is 1 Viera.
JE's Beastly Nifs for Men and Women
Hand carved three heads with engraved mesh.
They must be imported using Racemenu, or if you just want to paste them onto an existing NPC, you can use Nifmerge.
(Or, if you prefer, ECE. I don't know if it can import nifs, since I'm working exclusively with RM.)
How to use:
Manually download, unzip, and dump the nifs into the Chargen folder. (data/skse/plugins/chargen)
Set the character's weight to 50 and import Overhead in the Sculpt tab. You can change the weight after importing.
Carved about 50 UNP & SOS bodies.
For fins, bunny ears and/or human eyes:
You will need to find a tutorial on adding a new head and have very basic Creation Kit knowledge.
Download the Argonian Fins mod and/or any Bunny Ear mod and add them as headgear if you wish to use them in all matches, or as accessories/vests/helmets so you can equip them on individuals.
For the "Human Eye", just copy any human eye in CK, then change the "Effective Race" to ArgonianandVampire (or Ronso) and check "Playable and Neutral".
Here you can also change the texture set to any texture set you want, or make a new texture set.
Be sure to change the "Eye Color" in Racemenu/CK to this set of eyes, otherwise they won't look right!
Known issues:-
The mouth (teeth and tongue) does not scale with the head. If you open it up and look, there will be a hole.
-Poor sculpting, maybe the neck seam, asymmetry... I was rushing through things and then got tired of it and threw the towel. :T
-The tongue is trimmed when the mouth is fully opened. This is the problem for all Argonians.
Permissions: Any
No points required to use.
It's worth mentioning that I spent less than a day on them, but they do have a lot of issues, so IDGAF.

backstory
Once upon a time I pumped out some crap, 30 second presets to prove the concept of kobolds, lizardfolk, etc. due to the scaly game not getting the love. Then I sit on my butt and whine, waiting for someone with any time or talent to take up the challenge.
A few years later: no one was doing it. (As far as I know.)
So I decided I wanted to be the change I wanted to see and spent a few weeks crafting several versions of the model... a banga type with a long nose, a round face, long ears, all carefully sculpted so that their textures were not distorted at all. .
Then my computer ate the files. Of course, there are no backups. orz
This is an attempt to recreate them before I completely burn out.
They're not elaborately sculpted, but overly judicious use of Inflate & Deflate's products, with a bit of finishing here and there.
The female version is just a male, with a rapid contraction of the neck. The neck seam is almost guaranteed, although I did some pinning.
As a bonus, I also included the Ronso-"Viera" look.
This is just the new female head with the ears plugged in, the scalp softened to fit the standard hair, and the eyes modified (mileage may vary since I replaced the eyes/mouth with race in the game!).
Requires Ronso from Skyrim, Viera ears from another mod, and a non-blue texture somewhere.
Final note:
While spellchecking this page I realized I didn't name the nifs lol.
The thin nose should be bangaa, and the dragon face should be kobold. DERP:T
The human-eyed Argonians were inspired by the "denizens of Skyrim" Argonians (Argonian Maid comics).
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
