About this mod Machine translation

This is a tool that helps create templates and deform INIs for RaceMenu's BodyGen.

BodyGen is a feature in RaceMenu that assigns a different body type or shape to every NPC in the game.

Requires Java 8 to be installed.

If you don't know how to use BodyGen, check out the guide at the bottom of the instructions.

As of v1.1.0, the reverse sliders are calculated differently, so instead of having all sliders set to zero, bases, armor, and clothing need to be built using the new neutral presets.

See the Master Files section for the presets required to build the base and garment.

For CBBE SE Body, see the Optional Files section of the settings.json file.

Require:

BodySlide-  For creating XML presets.

RaceMenu  -BodyGen。

TES5Edit- Optional, used to retrieve NPC lists from different mods/masters.

illustrate:

This is a GUI program for generating a RaceMenu BodyGen INI from a BodySlide XML preset. This way you can add BodySlide presets and target NPCs through the user interface and generate the "templates.ini" and "morphs.ini" required by BodyGen without having to manually write the INI.

BodyGen is a feature in RaceMenu used to assign different body transformations to each NPC in the game.

Important note:

Once a character morphs in game, it cannot be reassigned to another preset by changing "morphs.ini".

To fix this you can clear the stored skse co-save file where the deformation is saved, or you can delete it (could be dangerous, not sure).

You can search for NetImmerse Override Cleaner as a cleaning tool.

Fallout 4 supports:

I've been informed that it works with Fallout 4's LooksMenu BodyGen.

Just modify "settings.json" so that it looks like this: Function:

{

"Defaults": {

},

"Multipliers": {

},

"Inverted":

}

Generate templates and deform the INI.

Settings can be saved to and loaded from a .jbs2bg file (json file), as the preset data is stored in the file, external XML and text files are no longer needed and can therefore be shared with anyone.

"Edit SetSliders" lets you set weights and even set the range that SetSlider randomizes.

The table view of NPCs is sortable and filterable for easier management.

Skyrim  JSON converted BodyTypes.

guide:

For this guide, I'll be using the CBBE body since that's what I primarily use.

Additionally, this guide will assume that you have BodySlide and RaceMenu installed, and know how to use BodySlide.

  • Prepare tools

Download jBS2BG and extract the zip file to any location.

(Optional) Download image archives that can be used to assign morphs to NPCs so you know who is who.

Of course, NPCs without images will not be displayed in the Image View.

Extract the image archive to the same folder as jBS2BG.jar, it should look like this:

  • Set up the base

BodyGen requires a base body with deformation enabled.

Using BodySlide, set the preset to -Zeroed CBBE- and generate the base body with Build Morphs enabled.

The generated file should be located in "Data\meshes\actors\character\character Assets".

The folder should now contain the following files: "femalebody_0.nif", "femalebody_1.nif", and "femalebody.tri".

Your "Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets" folder should look like this:

  • Settings

Replacing Clothing and Armor To make BodyGen morphs visible on clothed characters, you need an outfit with RaceMenu Morphs.

You can find several online with variant support

Outfit Mods, here are some: Vanilla Outfits BodySlided (includes armor and town clothes)

OCR-Omnisway Clothing Replacement-CBBE BodySlide BBP TBBP (Including fine clothes, short-sleeved clothes, wedding dresses...)

Provocateur (including mage robes, monk robes, necromancer robes...)

Build these garments with the same slider settings as the base body, in this case using the -Zeroed CBBE- preset.

You will also need to enable "Build Morphs" to build these costumes. You'll know morphing is enabled if you get a "*.tri" file next to the output "*.nifs". There are instructions on how to build them on these pages. If you …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
