About this mod Machine translation
Start BodySlide while Skyrim is running so you can make changes and see the results more easily.
This is an SKSE plugin that can be used to launch BodySlide while Skyrim is running so that you can make changes and see the results while the game is running. The default key to launch BodySlide is F2, but this can be changed to other values in BodySlideLauncher.ini if desired. Likewise, the 64-bit version of BodySlide will launch from the default installation location, but if for some reason you are using a 32-bit version of Windows or installed BodySlide to a non-standard location, you can set the path in the BodySlideLauncher.ini as well.
This works best when you're running Skyrim in borderless window mode, so you can quickly ALT-TAB between BodySlide and Skyrim. Both clothing and the player character's body can be changed. If the outfit you're replacing is already equipped, you won't see the changes until you unequip and then re-equip the outfit. It's best to make location changes without other NPCs to ensure that Skyrim doesn't keep the old mesh in memory if other NPCs might be using the same gear. Also, if the original mesh is in a BSA file and you create the loose file for the first time, you may not see the changes until the next time Skyrim starts so it can detect the loose file.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
