About this mod Machine translation
Why is the gray area so bland? So basic? Why Bethesda? Dunmer is connected to the mainland by travel and the Gjalund Salt-Sage's transport to and from Solstheim, why don't these buildings reflect where Dunmer lived?
It’s been 196 years since Red Mountain. Even though Dunmer is a refugee from the ongoing outbreak in the Red Mountains, Argonian raids, World War I, and more, a lot of it happened years ago. So, the question begins: Why is everyone in the Gray Zone so poor? Every one of them is working, why do their houses look like garbage? Why? Bethesda?
This mod attempts to repair the gray area interior and create a more ideal home for Dunmer. Now, it's Dunmer Kind's paradise. This is
Killer friendly? Well, I tried to keep it as lore-proof as possible, but since I updated it, I'm sure the rest of Windhelm looks
Pathetic in terms of interior design, but that doesn't help. I theorize that many Morrowind goods can be shipped through Solstheim, so Gjalund Salt-Sage and the people living in Solstheim can import Morrowind goods or make their own. Therefore, these Dunmers are able to obtain the same items as at home, thus supporting Dunmer's businesses instead of Nord's. It uses more resources from Dragonborn as well as custom resources influenced by Morrowind. A room can say a lot about a person, so I focused my mod on this idea.
Revyn Sadri (Owner of Sadri's Second Hand Goods) Now that Revyn is getting married, I wanted to make sure his house looked like a pawn shop owner and one that would fit comfortably into the Dragonborn. Many of the same items from the Dragonborn DLC have been replaced with the Dragonborn DLC, and a warehouse holds all items that can be sold. There is also a secret room hidden inside. See if you can find the key!
(It's under the table you see when you walk in). The room on the other side houses a double bed with two chairs, a pot and cozy, killer decorations.
Belyn Hlaalu (the owner of Hlaalu Farm) is supposed to be a super rich man because he owns a farm and has workers for it. So why is his house so poor? Now, his house has been renovated and decorated for future generations of the farmer and Hlaalu House. Considering his house philosophy, it might not surprise you to know what's hiding in his closet - it's definitely not a skeleton!
Ambarys Render / Malthyr Elenil (owner of New Gnisis Cornerclub) has had a complete refurbishment - it now looks like a pub. The Gnisis Cornerclub now has rooms, a new room for Ambary to sleep and rest, and another for Malthyr Elenil. There is also a new worship room where Dunmer can worship before/after drinking in peace without being disturbed or laughed at by the Nords. There is also a new kitchen where food is prepared before being served to patrons throughout the bar. There is a large seating area where patrons can sit and drink and enjoy themselves without judgment.
Aval, Faryl and Suvaris Atheron (businessman, farmworker and office manager respectively) all live in the Atheron House, to which I added a bedroom
There is a prayer room upstairs, which then transforms the downstairs into a main kitchen, dining room and lounge. Aval is a businessman who sells goods in the market and now his room reflects his work and has created a downstairs storage room where he can store goods he can sell in the future. Farrell's room is filled with books, scrolls and plants. Now he has become a beginner in the study and entry into the world of alchemy. Suvaris works as an office manager, has a cozy room and aspires to become an inspiring archer. Downstairs on the left is the dining room, kitchen and pantry. On the right is a small area where Faryl grows Ash Yams and Scathecraw.
This is my first mod ever, so there may be some issues with the mod that may need to be fixed that I may not have noticed or know about. Therefore, it is best to add it to a new game or freshly installed game before installing it. I've cleaned it with TES5edit and tested it on a spare machine to see if it works and …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
