The Lone Guardian's armor is more advanced and warmer.
Solitude is the true capital of Skyrim, and as such, guards should be appropriately equipped.
This mod updates the Lone Guard's armor so that they now have one of three sets of armor - original sleeveless, sleeved, or with a fancy fox cowl/cape. Currently, only male defenders can wear fox cowl sleeves due to a modeling issue in Blender that causes CTD when a female wears armor. There is something for everyone in the sleeve version.
My motivation was that they were high and very close to a snowy area and even though it didn't look like it, it would be a bit muggy there.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
