About this mod Machine translation

House Dres, the ancient master of the Mordwind slave trade, has returned to Solstheim. Will you help them in their business, or will you disappoint them? A short but branching location mod set in Solstheim, including new NPCs, creatures, weapons, armor, and short but well-sounding professionally written quests with multiple endings.

House Dres, an ancient master of the Morrowind slave trade, is no longer what it once was. Rebellion, war, and the devastating eruption of Red Mountain have left this once-mighty home a shadow of its former self. Many thought it would be destroyed and members die or retreat. These rumors are false.

A strange dwelling was built among the ashes of Solstheim. The Khajiit and Argonians are disappearing, and the specter of slavery once again looms in the dark corners of Tamriel.

Will you prevent the return of House Dres, or join their plans? Choose wisely, as some chains are less likely to break.

A new settlement east of Raven Rock in Solstheim.

A completely voiced, lore-friendly exploration of multiple options and endings, expertly written by Joseph Russell (Relationship Curve).

New weapons, armor and game books.

As a slave of House Dres meet two new types of Khajiit and Argonians: Suthay-raht and Wasseek-haleel.

House Dres bring a new creature from their homeland of Morrowind - the Nix Hound.

House Dres has returned to Solstheim and established a settlement east of Raven Rock. Their slave trade is booming again, and their success or failure depends on you.

To start the quest, talk to the strange-looking Khajiit J'kidar in Raven Rock's Retching Netch. He's looking to hire some help, and chances are he's exactly the kind of adventurer you're looking for. House Dres Settlement will then be added to your map - although if you happen to stumble upon it, the search will be adapted to that scene.

Although the mission is relatively short, it has many branches to suit a variety of play styles, and there are several different ways to resolve the slave's situation, some more violent than others. But be warned - House House won't let you sneak into their property uninvited, so if you're sure to break in without interfering with the defenders, be prepared for a fight.

Also watch out for Knick hounds. These green beasts are loyal to their Dunmer Master and will break your heart if you let them get too close.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
