About this mod Machine translation
Remake Hjerim in my own style. Comfortably furnished, the interior now matches the exterior. Requires DLC Hearthfire.
This is my attempt to relocate the player back home in Windhelm.
Have you ever noticed that the exteriors of many houses in Skyrim don’t match their interiors? I did it and it started bothering me in some way. So it wasn't just personal furniture that I gave Hjerim, but I also rearranged the room and moved the windows and walls. Now the interior is smaller, but based on the exterior appearance, that's what it should look like.
On the ground floor you can still find the kitchen and dining area, as well as the library/map room, the alchemy laboratory and the housecarl's room (under the stairs).
I moved the kids' bedroom upstairs next to the master bedroom.
Features:
- Bed (spouse, family, 2 children)
-Cooking pot, oven, cream whipping
-Alchemy Laboratory
-Shrines of Talos and Stendarr
- Weapon plaque, 2 mannequins, fabric stand
- Lots of storage (default and named), no glamor tables, sorry. I rarely use this skill, and I think the true Norse Stormcloak commanders are warriors, not mages. I also didn't add a forge area like many house modders do - there is a blacksmith in the city, so go to him, you are the poor man's only customer after all.
I also changed the appearance (as a separate esp) to have some space between the wall and the house, with a fireplace, benches and a wooden chopping board.
Installation notes:
DLC Hearthfire is required as the main file.
The mission "Blood on Ice" should be completed before activating my mod - it will not be possible after that.
You must purchase the home as normal, but you do not have to purchase decorations. The house comes fully furnished.
If you have purchased Hjerim, do the following: remove all items and NPCs from the house and save in another interior location. Quit the game, activate my mod, and continue.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
