Normally on a wooden chopping block you will get 1 piece of firewood, on a power hit you will get 2 pieces of firewood.

This mod is similar to Ax for SSE to chop wood, but works in another way and has an adjusted amount of firewood per hit.

With this mod you can hit a woodblock with a woodcutter's ax (and only a woodcutter's axe) and get firewood (like with an ore vein and a pickaxe).

Normally a hit will give you 1 firewood, a power hit - 2 firewood, but you can change this via the console:

Set HWCB_UsualCount to X

Set HWCB_PowerCount to Y

You can use positive numbers (while 0 disables getting firewood).

Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
