About this mod Machine translation
This is the Noble Bed version of the modified lake view extended basement;
Heljarchen Hall and Windstad Manor
I added the basement to Heljarchen and Windstad and had to navigate the area. I was very careful not to place the navmesh under anything so that the follower wouldn't hit a table, chair, or bed while moving through the sandbox. However, the vanilla navigation network in the cellar is not as tidy, and Bethesda is not as careful as I am. I made no effort to clean out all the nav nets in the basement.
Navmesh in Hearthfire House is a problem. You will find that sometimes NPCs will get stuck standing on their chairs. This is because there is a navigation grid underneath. They also sometimes bump into tables and chairs while playing in the sandbox. This is because the navigation network is everywhere and they think they can go there. It's not my fault, they don't call them Bugthesda without a good reason.
All-in-one (X3 version). This is for new playback. It contains the basements of all three houses. Do not install the Lakeview Extended Basement mod along with this.
X2 version. This is for an existing walkthrough, you already have a basement installed in Lakeview Manor and want to add the basement only to Windstand Manor and Heljarchen Hall.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
