I understand this is probably something Bethesda did for balance, but it always confused me, so I made a mod that changed it.
This is not an impressive wow mod. It's small and does very little. In fact, since most people use alternative boot modes, it's pretty redundant. But I did it anyway because why not.
Install
If installing manually:
- Download esp file from main file
2.Put it into the Skyrim Data folder
- Make sure the mod is activated in the launcher
4.Enjoy
If installed using mod manager
- Download the mod through the manager as usual
- Activate it
3.Enjoy
compatibility
As long as it doesn't change the guard equipment in the Helgen escape mission (which I think Requiem does), it should be compatible with anything. Otherwise, the mod lowest in the load order will simply "win" and they will get the device.
