About this mod Machine translation
A great addition to the Hearthfire DLC.
Create furniture and place it where you want to add extra wings to your wine cellar.
This is a translation of Kinaga's excellent Hearthfire Extended mod, which you can find here.
A few little things have been added that should have been part of the DLC, as well as new lore-friendly features for each domain. Now you can create and place furniture anywhere, not just in houses anymore, vanilla houses like moddée are perfectly compatible.
If you've ever wondered why a butter churn is a plant or a beekeeper's utility, this mod is for you, and if you've never built a DLC house before installing this mod and building one, you can't tell what is and isn't vanilla.
Basic mod additions:
furniture manufacturing
The new special carpenter's workbench allows you to make furniture that can be placed anywhere. You can build this workbench in the basement, build one outside the property to place it anywhere, or find one in the Vendeaume and Faillaise warehouses. The applications you can build with Hearthfire can be made this way, including Normal, Advanced, and Noble styles. Craft tables, chairs, alchemy labs, enchanting tables, ovens, stirrers, braziers, pots and more. You can even make other new carpenter's workbench for player houses added by mods or vanilla houses to make new furniture on site, but carpets are placed the same way but cannot be crafted. Instead, you can buy it from a Khajiit caravan dealer. Placeable furniture cannot replace all basic Hearthfire furniture. You won't be able to move into the house without building a bedroom wing, two cribs, two cots and a double bed for you and your spouse. This may change in a future update.
Place furniture by clicking on an object in the inventory or dropping it (press the "r" key). Precise positioning or removal of placed furniture requires placement modules or the use of consoles (getpos, setpos and markfordelete). I recommend the Jaxonz locator, but there are other options. The Jaxonz Positioner cannot move certain furniture, so it is recommended that you save before redecorating in case you end up with a brazier stuck in the middle of a door later in the game. Assigned at the bottom of the page under the heading "Complex Furniture".
Wine cellar expansion
Choose an extra room or a hallway that leads to two additional wings. With 5 different room designs to choose from, and many more to choose from, there's sure to be one to suit all games: the main room comes with a table, shelves and an alchemy lab or enchantment table. Brewery with brewers and barrels (north wing) Torture chamber with racks, handcuffs and cages (north wing) Vampire study with slaves and slave masters who can be hired to run the factory (south wing). Archery, training dummies, trophies and display cases (south wing), if you can't find the best option, remember that you can always design the piece yourself by placing the furniture manually!
If you prefer to use another mod's expanded cellar, or if you use a mod that expands the cellar and are concerned about conflicts, please read the instructions at the bottom of the instructions. It's easy to fix.
apiary
Apiaries are no longer containers. They can harvest honey once a day. After taking honey, you can harvest it again to take honey combs or bees. Just take the honey and the respawn timer will start. If you approach an apiary you will hear the buzzing of bees and you may see them flying, all Hearthfire Homes can now have an apiary. "Manoir du lac" received two more.
butter churn
Now, the butter churn turns the milk into butter. Because that's how it works in real life. I'm not sure what this factory is for...
dairy cow
You can now milk the cow. Just go to one of them and press "Activate". If you are going to continue using your new butter churn, you may need this feature. Painted cows and dead cows cannot be milked.
brewing
Those useless buckets of mead in your basement finally have a purpose. You can brew beer and mead there, …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
