If you're like me and were disappointed with vanilla horses, this mod is for you. This mod replaces the vanilla horse skeleton with a new custom skeleton, designed to make the Skyrim Horse's appearance more realistic and traditional to that of the Fjord Horse. Working within the confines of the vanilla mesh, I thinned the limbs, enlarged the neck, and made some subtle changes to the horses. The result is a fjord horse that will make you more integrated into the world of Skyrim. This affects all horses in Skyrim.

It is recommended to use Mod Manager or your favorite Mod Manager.
Install Heartland Horses after any mod that makes any changes to Vanilla Horses, then click Agree to All when prompted to overwrite any files.
There is no "esp plugin" for this mod.
