Install
Assuming you have Mod Organizer, you must install this patch and then order it under your existing Convenient Horses installation.
Or use some other mod manager, overwrite or overwrite the existing Convenient Horses PEX script.
Notice
Recompiling the code for this is difficult. In order to compile cleanly (using Papyrus Compiler Plus) this required that I had to make sure the script sources were in the correct location, as well as the same SKSE related stuff, and that Arissa's source code also had to be present and moved according to the instructions Chesko found on the mod's Github.
Additionally, a piece of code I found in a vanilla script ended up causing compilation issues with SKSE, so I had to replace `Tree` with `lTree` (`cwthreatcombatbarksscript.psc`) in the source code to fix the issue.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
