Document introduction

Handbag Addicts

by Denki Groove

Obtained by forging

A handbag, umbrella and briefcase that can be used as a shield or melee weapon. Also included is a small flower basket, sun hat, magnifying glass, Tesla coil (yes!), ghost hunter staff and other misc items.

***Version 1.4***

Add four colors of sun hat: black, blue, pink and white. This works best with "flat" hair, so if you have a "silly" hair style, it will cut it. However, you can (if technically inclined) adjust the hat position using NifSkope (see the images section for the exact nodes/settings that need to be changed). Especially the hairstyle with my custom hat position is from ApachiiSkyHair #20 v1.4 - also available in Apachii SkyHair Wigs http://www.skyrim/mods/43673. However, any hair/wig that lies flat should be fine.

This update includes a new tote bag (finally), as well as many other items I have related to the "Inspector" theme: trowel, soul battery, ghost hunter staff, and Tesla coil (yay!). They can all be created at the forge (see categories below).

You could say this has become a two-in-one mod of handbag and inspection tool. I had once planned a separate "Inspector's Kit" mod, but I didn't get enough evidence to justify a separate mod (I know, I already have too many mods activated). Therefore, the inspector theme gradually enters this mode. Hope you can forgive me. ^^'''

As always, an additional save is recommended before installing the latest version.

[something new]. Handbag V2 [Hidden] - Use as a shield or axe. Variants include: blue, green, dark green, leather and pink. . Trowel [Iron] - Magnifying glass tool (included in last update). I thought it looked weird without some magnifying glass in the right hand, so I created two variations: a dagger and an ax type. . Soul Cell Battery [misc] - A battery-like soul gem. It is reusable and should work like the Black Soul Gem. I created this version specifically to go with the Tesla Coil included in the mod update. . Ghost Hunter Staff [misc] - A last minute addition that I thought would replenish the Soul Battery - as a way to "recharge". There is a Soul Trap version, as well as Icy Spike and Fire versions. Also I've included a two-handed melee version (great for sword swinging); you may want to change the "Weapon Adjustment" of the custom armor if you find it's too close to the back (this is done via CK for "armorAddon". A value of .50 works well). . Tesla Coil [Iron/Miscellaneous] - What adventure inspector doesn't need a Tesla Coil to brave the elements? My initial thought was a Colt .45 revolver. So how do I get to the Tesla Coil? The gun has been modified. So I thought why not beef spurs? Hey, that's a perfectly logical progression of ideas! Well...anyway, I think cow production is too mundane and simple. I wanted something bigger and bulkier. Thus the Tesla Coil concept was born. *honking* The Tesla Coil has three worker variations: Spark, Chain Lightning, and Wall Lightning. There is also a one handed melee version (with ax) that is better suited for impersonation/3rd person use (it will take up a significant portion of the first person view); I made this so you could use the Tesla Coil in the game without FX lighting.

so. . . What's right for everyone? =PEnjoy!

Add a magnifying glass. I've been wanting to create a concept for use with an "Investigator Kit". But I could never get Refraction to work, and I never quite got the inspiration or enough ideas to create a researcher's toolkit. Then I saw a refractive glass armor mod: http://skyrim..com/mods/29123 and decided to give it another try. After "peeping" from one of the NIFs in that model, I managed to get the refraction working so I could make a magnifying glass. Since I've created several projects that I felt followed the survey theme to this mod (Umbrella and Briefcase), I decided to add it here.

You can fake it from the hide category (even tho …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
