About this mod Machine translation
Improved Dragon Priest Masks to make eyes visible from the outside while maintaining the original aesthetic.
Compatible with modified closed helmets and most textures.
Introduction:
This mod will change all base game and DLC Dragon Priest masks to have transparent eyeliner. It's a compromise between being able to see the character's eyes and maintaining the original beauty of the mask.
While it can be used on its own, I would specifically consider using a modified closed face helmet for this and I highly recommend it.
compatibility
This mod will conflict with all mods that change the stats of Dragon Priest Masks.
Patches made for Modified Closed Face Helmets and these mods will continue to work properly.
If you don't want to use the improved closed face helmet, I made a patch for Morrowloot Ultimate and weapons and reworked armor modifiers.
I also made patches for the multiple textures brought by the mesh adjustments.
All compatibility patches can be selected in the installer.
Known issues
No weight slider support
No support for beast races and orcs (this problem can be solved by using the improved near-face helmet)
Trim certain facial deformities and beards
I have no intention of fixing these problems. This mod is intended as an experiment only and is sufficient for its actual needs.
If you are looking for a cutout mask mesh with less clipping, try using the mask mesh from my other mod.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
