About this mod Machine translation

Guardians' Overlook is a rustic cabin overlooking the Guardian Stones, with a basement treasure hall. The upstairs houses crafting, storage, and some display areas, while the downstairs (loading door entrance) provides display space for every item in the game, allowing your NPCs to protect your treasures.

I hate load zones. But I'm also slightly dissatisfied with all the houses that don't have loading zones (like the now legendary Riverside Shack, which was part of the inspiration for this mod). They either don't have enough room to display the goodies I want to show off, or they have a crappy view (I mean, views are the best part about being out in Skyrim), or both. I'd also like a collector's museum, but just everything from Skyrim and the DLC without having to complete a bunch of buggy missions (I love Dragonborn's Legacy, but am not always a fan of the variety of missions it contains)

So I built the guardian's overlook.

This is a beautifully situated cottage overlooking Inleta Lake and Riverwood. With every production workstation you really need in or around the cabin, plenty of storage and some very handy features, the cabin has everything you need for the majority of your gameplay.

The hut was built over a treasure chamber designed by the prophetic monks under the orders of Emperor Pelagius IV (3E 314 - 3E 368) to house a host of powerful artifacts for adventurers to later collect to aid the last of the dragons in the battle against Alduin, the World-Eater. This treasure room can house every attraction from Skyrim, Drabonborn, and Dawnguard, including a carpenter's table for crafting replicas, a massive library, and even a guard room for your fans.

It's also the least solvable, hopelessly friendly explanation for the cabin/treasure combination I can think of.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
