About this mod Machine translation
Modified Billyro Flamberge into a bright sword with blazing light.
Includes ax and sword versions. No scabbard.
A lot of people like Billyros' new Flamberge. You can use this on Ricasso if you use the default ax animation (and other animations, more on that later). It makes it feel like this beast hits really hard, which some people like. The sword-shaped light also emerged.
This version adds flame detail, unique to both sides of the blade, and a fiery glow of red.
I think the next step for me is to finally build my own sword. Pay attention to this. At the same time, I wanted to add some burnt parts to the overall texture.
You still need Billyros' original mod
Now, I'd like to go on record and say that I know a way to make Skyrim's combat system better. I effectively made "light" and "heavy" combat styles just by picking certain animations from various mods. The style of the lamp is more visually consistent with a sword/scythe and a light stick, such as a bamboo pole. The ax/hammer side has been visually tweaked to suit spears, halberds and powerful weapons, but can easily perform with a longsword.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
