Glorious Solitude Door Changer

Replace doors in Solitude with new custom meshes and high-quality textures.

This module can replace all building doors used in Solitude, both internal and external.

For all these objects I made new highly detailed meshes in Blender and textured, I wanted them to be close to photorealistic.

There are some immersion flaws due to the fact that some buildings use different doors on the interior than on the exterior.

I made the door as realistic as possible and added water stains on the outside of the door rather than on the inside.

After bringing them into the game I noticed that the interior of some buildings showed the outside of the door inward and vice versa, which was very disappointing.

It doesn't make any sense, but this is how it's implemented in vanilla and I can't do much without learning CK, which I'd like to avoid now.

Also, some of the doors don't line up perfectly with their arches because the placement is really weird and I tried my best to make it look good for everyone.

Install

Nothing special here, just drop the files into the data folder.

compatibility

I haven't noticed any issues with the mod I'm using, but make sure to load my mod after other mods that modify doors.

The only one I know of is XENB 2019, which also replaces the mesh shousedoor01.nif.
