Non-automatic skill books
This is a translation of Kelsenellenelvian and Griptzion's excellent non-automatic skill book mod, which you can find here.
Modifying the way skill books work, this mod allows you to choose if and when skill points are earned, in addition to letting you know which skills are offered to you.
The titles of these books come in 5 forms:
There are no modifications, you only have the mod menu.
Title followed by skill name
Add skill name after title with name map marker or task
Add skill name before title
Preface the title with the name of the skill with the name map marker or task

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
