About this mod Machine translation

A collection of fossils that can be used as decoration or treasure for your mod.

With my love for paleontology and creating art, I decided to put this module together. It is a collection of realistic fossils, each placed on a simple grid to give them their own unique look and feel. They can be used as decorations in buildings, campsites or archaeological excavations or even ruins. They look good when used as decorations for scholars, mages, archaeologists/geologists, or even explorers. They give an earthly feel, and when paired with scholarly objects such as books and scrolls, they can lend a sense of sanity. These resources are free to use as long as you give appropriate credit to my work and they are not used in paid mods. Credit goes to me for the amazing fossils used in my mods. The images I use are mainly from Wikipedia or some books I own. They range from small mammals and dinosaurs to primitive birds and even a Tyrannosaurus rex skull. There's also a bunch of small items perfect for placing on your desk or shelf, as well as some other interesting geological artifacts such as geodes, petrified wood, and agates. Everything is handmade except for the petrified wood, which is a modified vanilla tree stump, Among them is the fossil of an early horse called Propalaeotherium, which holds a little secret. This is one of the few fossils whose sex can be identified. Confirm it's a female and I'll let you know what's going on, but I'll give you a tip: check for the dark patches on the top of her spine. Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
