About this mod Machine translation
Adds a new unique forge similar to the Lunar Forge, as well as a set of enchanted, sun-themed undead slaying weapons that can only be crafted on it.

Solar forging

Version: 1.1 - Fixed a bug that caused the enchantment to always deal maximum damage (20 instants, +4 for 5 seconds), even at night, instead of increasing and decreasing during the day. While this behavior is not expected, I know some may think this makes the weapon more worth fixing, so I'm keeping the problematic version in the old files section as version 1.0.

- Introduction

I've already said that I really like Lunar Forge. Together with Skyforge, they came up with the idea that those ancient Norsemen did some pretty amazing things with their craft back then. The low level norse weapons you find on draugr are "ancient" versions of that weapon, so imagine what they did in their original state. Something like Lunar Forge, with unique properties. And since we have lunar forges, why not use daylight weapons? So I decided to make one myself and try to keep it in the same spirit as the lunar calendar, which means it's "right there". No quests, no grand answers, just lead *there*.
"But DiBastet" you said "I just got there and going to Solar Forge is much harder than going to Lunar Forge (especially on Requiem)" Yeah what's wrong with Timmy? "Also, sun weapons that damage undead aren't as useful as health-draining effects! The balance between rewards is imbalanced!" Do you know what Timmy is? you are right. That's why it's called immersive. The world does not distribute rewards carefully for you. The forgery is there. There's nothing wrong with these guys gathering around Timmy.

A new special forge has been added in Far Far Away, the Solar Forge. If you need the location, read the spoilers below.
-Added a set of solar weapons that can be forged there, but only when the sun touches the forge. Not only are these weapons silver-plated, they are also tinged with sunlight, which deals extra damage to undead. The old Norsemen weren't the nicest people around (hell, neither were their descendants), so you had to do things that some characters considered obnoxious to get the necessary ingredients (or just hunt them around or buy them and say "that's not me, it's rotten, so why waste it?").
-Solar weapons are somewhat unique in terms of enchantments. In addition to only working from 09-17 (Working Class Enchantment), it also gets stronger as the day progresses, peaking near the zenith, then gradually weakens until it fades away just before sunset. The enchantment also does not charge a fee, further indicating that these weapons are not crafted in a "typical" (enchanted by a wizard) manner.
-Weapons are disintegrable, but this enchantment does not have any unique properties of the weapon. Sorry, there are no suitable keel solar weapons here.
-Recipes for solar versions of all normal weapons. Vanilla misses out on Nordic Mace and Warhammer, so no luck here.
- Maybe something else when you are a "skilled blacksmith versed in the ancient Norse ways"?

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
